Nora Q.E. Passamaneck

Nora Passamaneck focuses her practice on intellectual property disputes at the pre-litigation, trial, and appellate levels. Ms. Passamaneck has also counseled clients and assisted with matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, including inter partes review proceedings. Her cases span a broad range of technological fields, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, microprocessors, telecommunications networks, and internet technologies. Beyond patent litigation, Ms. Passamaneck also has experience involving trademarks, ownership, and licensing disputes.
Prior to joining the Denver office, Ms. Passamaneck was the Honorable J. Michael Seabright's career judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. In that role, she regularly analyzed all facets of federal practice (pleadings, jurisdiction, venue, motions practice, and trial) covering a wide range of substantive law. During her clerkship, Ms. Passamaneck also was a lecturer in law at the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii at Manoa where she taught a first-year spring semester legal writing course.
Prior to law school, Ms. Passamaneck was a research technician at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
Ms. Passamaneck is admitted to practice in Colorado, Massachusetts, and New York, as well as before United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Professional Activities
Ms. Passamaneck is an adjunct professor teaching patent litigation at the University of Colorado School of Law.
