WilmerHale is pleased to announce that Hallie B. Levin has joined the firm as a partner in the New York office and member of the Litigation/Controversy Department.
Ms. Levin is a highly accomplished trial lawyer who has handled complex financial and commercial trials, earning the respect of her clients, judges and opposing lawyers alike.
“We are thrilled to have Hallie join WilmerHale,” said Robert Novick, WilmerHale's co-managing partner. “She has a superb track record as a stand-up trial lawyer. Our firm is highly regarded, and justifiably so, for our excellence in trying cases at every level. Hallie adds to the strength we already offer our clients in this area. She also has advised a very diverse group of clients that includes banks, funds, financial services, media, telecommunications and retail. Our clients will benefit from that experience as well.”
“I'm very much looking forward to being a part of WilmerHale's team of truly exceptional lawyers,” Ms. Levin said. “They have long impressed me not only with their obvious intellectual firepower, but with their deep commitment to their clients and their culture of collaboration and teamwork. WilmerHale's sterling reputation for its trial work, in particular, will be a phenomenal platform for me at this stage of my career.
Ms. Levin has demonstrated her commitment to improving the legal profession and system through her active membership in professional organizations. In May she was elected a Vice President of the New York City Bar Association on whose Executive Committee she has served for four years, chairing the Committee during the past year. Last month she was elected a Vice President of the Federal Bar Council, having completed a term as Secretary. She was also a founding member of the Federal Bar Council Inn of Court.
Ms. Levin earned her undergraduate degree in 1993 from the University of Pennsylvania and her law degree from Harvard Law School in 1996.
