The American Lawyer has shortlisted Partner Joseph Mueller for its inaugural New England Legal Attorney of the Year award. The award honors an individual whose legal accomplishments over the past year have far outpaced their peers.

Mueller, co-chair of WilmerHale’s Trial Practice, is one of the nation’s leading first-chair trial lawyers who has worked on dozens of trials in courts across the country. He represents some of the most successful and pace-setting companies in business history, and was named Litigation Daily’s Litigator of the Week for securing one of 2022’s most notable IP wins with a victory for T-Mobile against Simply Wireless. In addition to his trial work, Mueller sets and executes strategies for interdisciplinary matters involving a wide variety of disputes.

Mueller and the other finalists will be recognized at this year’s gala at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston on September 21.
