Siddharth Velamoor is a seasoned trial lawyer and crisis manager, who has successfully litigated in state and federal courts, and international arbitral tribunals. He has a diverse litigation practice focused on high-stakes, complex commercial disputes and investigations. Leveraging his experience in government and as an executive for The Boeing Company, Mr. Velamoor also counsels clients on a wide range of compliance and sustainability matters, including monitorships and Deferred Prosecution Agreements, regulations addressing environmental and human rights standards, and supply chain due diligence laws.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Velamoor served as Director at The Boeing Company, one of the world's largest aerospace companies. While at Boeing, he managed the company’s response to novel civil litigation, compliance and commercial matters arising out of the 737 MAX groundings in 2019 and 2020, including the company’s engagement with government agencies, its defense against major civil litigation and shareholder claims, and major revisions to its compliance systems. He prepared senior executives when engaging with regulators and customers, and participated in recent enhancements to the company’s aircraft production and quality systems. He also represented the company in billion-dollar 737 MAX purchase and sales negotiations with airlines around the world.

Mr. Velamoor also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Washington, where he investigated and prosecuted computer hacking, ransomware, national security, intellectual property, and white-collar crimes committed by private actors and state-sponsored entities. He helped lead the government’s investigation and prosecution of Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications provider, for trade secret misappropriation and obstruction of justice. He also prosecuted novel cybercrimes committed against two of the world’s largest technology companies in widely covered cases that broke new ground in the government’s use of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and anti-money laundering laws. Mr. Velamoor also partnered with judges to educate minority communities about laws against hate crimes, and to train law enforcement agents on civil rights obligations.

Prior to his government and in-house experience, Mr. Velamoor was an associate and counsel at WilmerHale, where he focused his practice on litigation and arbitration. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable David O. Carter of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
