Senior Associate

Nelson Castaño is a senior associate who represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters. Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Castaño clerked for the Honorable Myrna Pérez of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable Victor A. Bolden of the US District Court for the District of Connecticut. He was previously a summer associate at WilmerHale. 

While in law school, Mr. Castaño was a student advocate with the Civil Rights Clinic at New York University School of Law, where he represented a client in an employment discrimination mediation, co-authored two amicus briefs, including one submitted to the Supreme Court, and wrote legal memoranda regarding government transparency. Mr. Castaño was previously a legal intern with the New York Civil Liberties Union and a research associate with the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law.
