On July 16, 2024, Spectris plc, the expert in providing insight through precision measurement, announced that it has agreed to acquire Micromeritics Instrument Corporation, a world leader in analytical instrumentation for the physical characterization of particles, powders and porous materials for fundamental research, product development and production quality control. The combination will create a global market leader in particle characterization for advanced materials analysis with a comprehensive, fully integrated and differentiated offering with strong competitive positioning.
