Instinet to Sell its Fox River Business to Clear Street

On July 16, 2024, Instinet, a Nomura Group subsidiary that provides equity trading services to financial institutions, entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Fox River algorithmic trading business, which provides a comprehensive suite of algorithmic execution solutions in US and Canadian equities, to Clear Street, a cloud-native financial technology firm.
