Brittany Amadi was recognized in the 2023 “They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40” Bloomberg Law series, which honors young lawyers and their accomplishments internationally. According to the publication, the exclusive list is comprised of “the best of the future of the legal profession.”
Amadi is an intellectual property litigation attorney, specializing in cases at the trial and appellate stages. She has also worked on pro bono projects with the ACLU on voting rights and is an adjunct assistant professor at American University Washington College of Law. Amadi has represented clients across a range of industries, including financial services, computer software, medical device, defense, semiconductor, pharmaceutical and other industries.
The feature accompanying her recognition details her most impactful cases and lessons she has learned from being in the legal field. Amadi’s most impactful case was with Harvard where she upheld its race-conscious admissions program. In her profile, she notes she is “very proud” to have contributed to “preserving the ability of students to live and learn in a diverse environment.” She also recounts that as a first-year associate, she was given advice to “always be available.” This advice has assisted in her abundant success thus far, as it allows her to “continuously provide assistance to clients and colleagues.”
