Recognition

WilmerHale’s landmark April 2022 victory for DaVita Inc. in federal court in Denver in the first-ever criminal labor market allocation case brought by the US Department of Justice has been shortlisted for two 2023 Global Competition Review (GCR) Awards:

  • Behavioral matter of the year – Americas: Creative, strategic and innovative work carried out in a non-merger matter before an enforcer in the Americas.
  • Matter of the year: Merger control, cartel, unilateral conduct, litigation or any other competition matter worldwide. Creative, strategic and innovative work by teams of in-house and external lawyers and economists.

GCR does not count the votes of lawyers or staff members of firms for their own firm’s matters or colleagues. To be counted, votes for those on GCR’s shortlist must come from firm outsiders. The voting deadline is Monday, Feb. 6, 2023 at 8am GMT/3am EST. Votes can be cast here.
