WilmerHale has been named a finalist in The Recorder’s Tech Industry Litigation Team of the Year contest as part of the publication’s California Legal Awards.
The recognition celebrates the achievements of lawyers and companies leading technology, innovation and the profession as a whole. The firm’s selection as a finalist for the Tech Industry Litigation Department of the Year award is in honor of its industry leading practice in representing tech companies.
In a Q&A with The Recorder, Partner Mark Selwyn, co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation group, notes that WilmerHale has continued its record success with landmark victories for clients in complex and cutting-edge intellectual property cases.
Additionally, Selwyn notes that WilmerHale offers three competitive advantages when clients consider the firm for representation on a piece of litigation. “First, we have one of the nation’s strongest benches of trial lawyers…second, we speak science and technology…third, we think outside the box.”
As part of the awards, Partner Sonal M. Mehta was also recognized as a Woman Leader in Tech Law. The Recorder will announce the winner of the Tech Industry Litigation Team of the Year and celebrate the other honorees at its awards ceremony on November 3.
