The American Lawyer named Kevin Prussia and Tiffany Smith to its second annual list of Northeast Trailblazers. The Trailblazer series recognizes individuals who have “moved the needle in the legal industry” and acted as agents of change in their respective practice areas.

In his profile, Prussia, a Boston-based partner whose practice is focused on intellectual property litigation, highlights his pro bono work on behalf of individuals residing in homeless encampments at Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard. Prussia was an integral member of the WilmerHale team that partnered with the American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts to challenge the city’s unlawful removal of tenants under the threat of criminal prosecution. The case shed light on the intersection of civil liberties and public health issues—an issue Prussia believes will garner greater attention in the future.

Smith, who is a partner in WilmerHale’s Securities and Financial Services Practice in New York, discusses the disruptive impact of cryptocurrency and blockchain in her profile.
