Bill Lee, a Boston-based partner, was included on the 2019 “Power 50” list from the Boston Business Journal. This year’s “Power 50” list includes individuals who are not only making an impact on the business community, but who are also admired by their colleagues and peers. This is Lee’s third appearance on the list.
The profile notes Lee is consistently recognized by his peers as one of the most influential attorneys. Lee previously served as co-managing partner of WilmerHale and was the first Asian-American to lead a major US law firm. Lee is widely recognized as an exceptional trial and intellectual property lawyer, recently leading the team that achieved a landmark ruling for Harvard University in the high-profile challenge to the use of race in its undergraduate admissions process.
Lee is also committed to mentoring the next generation of lawyers. He has taught at Harvard Law School for fifteen years, and currently lectures in the January Experiential Term for first-years.
Lee also serves as the Senior Fellow of the Harvard Corporation.
Lee and other honorees were recognized at the “Power 50” event hosted by the Boston Business Journal on November 14.
