In collaboration with the Disputes practice of AZB & Partners, the WilmerHale International Arbitration Group will conduct a seminar in Mumbai for in-house counsel. Speakers will will touch on key issues in international arbitration in India and elsewhere, including:
- Pre-dispute considerations, including the selection of an appropriate seat and institutional rules and effectively structuring transactions across multiple contracts and parties
- Kick-starting the dispute, including maximizing investment treaty protections, third-party funding and emergency arbitration
- Time and cost savings during the proceedings, including the use of bifurcation, early dismissal mechanisms and expedited procedures and resourcefully gathering evidence and managing the document production phase
- Enforcement of awards, including issues relating to the enforcement of awards under the New York Convention and domestic and cross-border tools to trace and attach assets
