Haixia Lin Receives Asian Leadership Recognition from Diversity Journal

Recognition

Partner Haixia Lin has been honored with Diversity Journal’s 2023 Asian Leadership award. The publication honors outstanding individuals who have blazed new trails, welcomed challenges, mentored others, advanced diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the community and excelled in their chosen fields.

Profiles in Diversity Journal is a quarterly magazine that spotlights, promotes and supports individuals in underrepresented groups for their contributions to their respective fields. In this issue, Diversity Journal profiled 29 individuals to recognize and celebrate the achievements of its third group of Asian Leaders.

Lin’s practice focuses on patent litigation, post-grant proceedings, and patent prosecution and counseling in an array of engineering fields, including electrical and computer engineering. She has litigated patents in federal district courts and the International Trade Commission, and represented clients before the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board, all across a wide range of technology industries, including microprocessors, wireless devices, medical devices and artificial intelligence. Leveraging her technical background, Haixia has counseled clients on patent portfolio strategy for their AI innovations, patent infringement risk for their AI products and IP risks of generative AI tools.

“I’m fortunate in that I love my work, and for me that means not only enjoying the legal issues I tackle every day, but also respecting and appreciating the people I work with,” says Lin in her profile. “I learned that when it comes to finding a place to hang your hat, culture matters, values matter and ultimately the people matter.”
