Dell Technologies honored WilmerHale with its 2023 US Law Firm Pro Bono award, in recognition of the work the firm does as a whole and the individual pro bono champions at the firm who do a significant amount of work with Dell and also provide pro bono advocacy across a broad range of cases, including Cindy Vreeland, Mark Fleming, Louis Tompros, Peter Dichiara, David Yin, Disha Patel, and Will Conlon. Dell noted at the December 16, 2023, awards ceremony our work on immigration, voting rights, housing, human trafficking and more.
Cindy Vreeland, who maintains an active pro bono practice, said at the awards ceremony “We are so grateful to work at a firm that has enthusiastically embraced and supported a series of pro bono work that has tugged at each of our heartstrings. We are also immensely grateful to have a client, like Dell, that has not only trusted us with a terrific array of interesting cases and issues, but also has encouraged us, through events like today, to be the best we can be on work that is so important.”
Pro bono representation has been a hallmark of WilmerHale since the early 20th century, and the firm’s dedication to upholding the notion of equal access for all has led to its participation in historic cases throughout the world.
