The Tech Summit—Competition Bits and Consumer Bytes will feature a select team of technologists, corporate innovators, thought leaders and senior government officials discussing, in a tech conference format and style:
- the implications of big data;
- algorithmic fairness, prediction and collusion;
- the role of platforms and double sided-markets; and
- the best course to foster competition and consumer protection in the digital economy in the future.
Partner Hartmut Schneider will participate on an IP panel to discuss what may lie ahead for the IP, antitrust and tech landscapes as enforcers around the globe face the complexities of how antitrust and intellectual property interact in high-tech industries.
