This event will feature a presentation on current topics in intellectual property law, including (1) the Defend Trade Secrets Act; (2) patent infringement investigations before the International Trade Commission; and (3) third-party funding of intellectual property litigation.

WilmerHale has been accredited by the New York State and California State Continuing Legal Education Boards as a provider of continuing legal education. This program is being planned with the intention to offer CLE credit in California and non-transitional CLE credit in New York. This program, therefore, is being planned with the intention to offer CLE for experienced New York attorneys only. Attorneys in England and Wales may also claim unaccredited CPD credit for attending this program. WilmerHale is not an accredited provider of Illinois CLE, Pennsylvania CLE or Virginia CLE, but we will apply for Illinois, Pennsylvania and Virginia CLE if requested. The type and amount of credit awarded will be determined solely by the Supreme Court of Illinois, Pennsylvania’s State CLE Board and Virginia’s CLE Board. New Jersey will grant reciprocal credit for programs that are approved in New York. We will issue New York Certificates of Attendance to attorneys who request New Jersey Credit. Attendees requesting CLE credit must attend the entire program.
