Harry Hanson
Counsel
Harry Hanson focuses his practice on complex intellectual property matters. Mr. Hanson assists a variety of clients in trademark disputes and in patent litigation in federal district court, before the United States International Trade Commission and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and at the Federal Circuit. He has represented clients in patent disputes involving a broad range of technological fields, including pharmaceuticals, smartphones, tablet computers and microprocessor technologies. Mr. Hanson also maintains an active appellate practice.
In 2021, Mr. Hanson served as a special assistant district attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts. While in that position, he tried numerous cases to both juries and judges and argued dozens of motions on behalf of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Hanson was a law clerk for the Honorable Paul J. Barbadoro of the US District Court for the District of New Hampshire. He previously worked as a summer associate in the firm's Boston office, and as a paralegal in the Healthcare Fraud Unit of the United States Attorney's Office in Boston. While in law school, Mr. Hanson was a member of the Boston College Criminal Defense Clinic, the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court team, and served as an articles editor of the Boston College Law Review.
