Lester Ross Elected as Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of AmCham China

Lester Ross, partner-in-charge of the firm's Beijing office, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham China).
AmCham China is a nonprofit organization that represents US companies and individuals doing business in China, with the mission of helping American companies succeed in China through advocacy, information, networking and business support services. It is a member-led organization that comprises more than 3,500 individuals from more than 1,000 companies. Members of AmCham China's Board of Governors are elected on an annual basis by members. Ross, consistently ranked by Chambers and Partners as a leading lawyer in China, focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, financial services, project finance, energy and environmental law matters and capital markets. He has represented both foreign and local companies and has particular experience advising on China's regulations, regulatory compliance and audit protocols.
In addition to Ross's role as Vice Chairman, fellow WilmerHale Partner Kenneth Zhou serves as the Board's Associate General Counsel.
