The London office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering LLP hosted an Aviation Roundtable on slot reform in Europe and the introduction of market mechanisms. The Roundtable was very successful, with valuable contributions and debate by all who attended. Topics discussed included slot ownership, how competition law might apply to a slot market, environmental issues, slot auctions and market transparency. Participants included representatives from UK and foreign airlines, regulators, government, the UK's slot coordinator, investment banks and airports.
