Axon Finalizes Acquisition of Dedrone

On October 2, 2024, Axon, the global public safety technology leader, announced it had closed a transaction to acquire Dedrone, a global leader in airspace security. Axon’s intention to acquire Dedrone was first announced in May of 2024 and was subject to customary closing conditions. Dedrone’s acquisition will strengthen Axon's ability to help customers safeguard their communities, improve response to critical incidents and protect even more lives in more places.

The WilmerHale corporate team advising Dedrone was led by Daniel Zimmermann and Michael Gilligan and included Scott Scharf, Taylor Mielnicki, Shafi Armatis and Ben Goldfein.
