Louis Tompros Named a 2023 Go To Intellectual Property Lawyer by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Boston-based Partner Louis Tompros has been selected as a “Go To Intellectual Property Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
The Go To Lawyer program recognizes top attorneys across the Commonwealth who are serving as leaders in their field with a long history of success.
Tompros’s profile showcases some of his recent victories, such as a landmark copyright case involving the iconic “Pepe the Frog” character and a high-profile case on behalf of Christmas singer and songwriter Elizabeth Chan in the “Queen of Christmas” trademark battle with Mariah Carey. The profile also highlights his victory in defending Bombardier Recreational Products against a trademark infringement claim brought by Jaguar Land Rover, which earned him the title of “Litigator of the Week” from Litigation Daily.
Tompros serves as a leader within the firm, including as chair of WilmerHale’s Boston Associates Committee. Tompros also holds an appointment as Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, where he teaches the Patent Trial Advocacy course. He has also taught at the Harvard Business School, the University of Southern California, the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Tompros is the Chair of the Massachusetts Equal Justice Coalition, chairs the advisory council of the WilmerHale Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School and serves on the executive committee of the Alan D. Lourie Boston Intellectual Property American Inn of Court.
