WilmerHale Named to The National Law Journal’s 2021 Pro Bono Hot List

WilmerHale has been named to The National Law Journal’s 2021 Pro Bono Hot List for its commitment to tackling pressing issues and aiding those in need. Over the past year, WilmerHale’s lawyers have worked on a range of cases including litigation to secure housing, medical care, and protection from abuse and exploitation for individuals who otherwise lacked representation.
Partners Felicia Ellsworth and Kimberly Parker discussed the firm’s philosophy on pro bono service and some of their recent pro bono cases in the firm’s award profile. These cases included the representation of Ernest “Jaythan” Kendrick – who served twenty-six years for a murder he did not commit – and United Farm Workers, which filed a federal lawsuit against the US Departments of Agriculture and Labor.
