Michael Howe, Counsel in the firm’s International Arbitration Group, based in London, has been named the exclusive winner of the Lexology Client Choice Award 2021 for Arbitration in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Howe's practice focuses on complex arbitration and litigation matters. He has represented clients in numerous institutional and ad hoc arbitrations under a wide variety of arbitral rules, including LCIA, ICC, ICDR, UNCITRAL and DIAC. Mr. Howe has a particular focus on international commercial arbitration. He has represented clients from a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on energy, natural resources, manufacturing, financial services and construction. In addition to his arbitration practice, Mr. Howe has a significant litigation practice. A qualified solicitor-advocate, he has represented clients in high-stakes commercial litigation before the English courts and in court proceedings relating to arbitration, including before the UK Supreme Court and courts of other Commonwealth jurisdictions.
