Rob Lehman Is Named to The Hill’s "Top Lobbyists 2018" List

Rob Lehman, the firm’s Senior Public Policy Advisor, was named to The Hill’s “Top Lobbyists 2018” list.
The Hill’s list is frequently consulted by companies, associations and institutions seeking advocates who can effectively promote their agendas with the right policymakers in Washington DC.
“The nation’s capital is teeming with lobbyists and influencers, but when the stakes are at their highest, these are the players at the top of their game, known for their ability to successfully navigate the byzantine and competitive world of federal policymaking,” The Hill said.
Mr. Lehman joined Partner Jonathan Yarowsky on the list. Messrs. Lehman and Yarowsky co-chair the firm’s Public Policy and Legislative Affairs group.
Before joining WilmerHale in 2015, Mr. Lehman was chief of staff to Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH). In that position, his insider’s knowledge of the minutiae of the legislative process allowed him to effectively oversee the senator’s legislative agenda, including the introduction of 65 bipartisan bills.
Prior to that, he gained tremendous insight into the Executive Branch as chief of staff at the Office of Management and Budget, and on international trade issues as chief of staff for the US Trade Representative. Before that, he was a senior leadership aide to a congressman, so he has intimate knowledge of both chambers of Congress.
