Cynthia Vreeland Recognized Among the Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

  • 11.19.2015

WilmerHale Partner Cynthia Vreeland has built an impressive trial record over the course of her career, including 18 trials she either first- or second-chaired. This is one of many reasons that Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has named her to its annual Top Women in Law list—an award that honors outstanding women lawyers whose contributions are invaluable to the legal profession.

Vreeland's practice focuses on patent and trade secret litigation, and centers around her representation of clients in various jurisdictions across the nation. She has successfully tried cases in federal district courts from coast to coast and the US International Trade Commission, involving technologies ranging from wireless devices, semiconductor chips, and computer storage to medical devices, pharmaceuticals, plants and superconducting materials. In addition to her exceptional patent litigation practice, Vreeland has a record of helping those in need through her pro bono work. She has represented victims of human trafficking against their traffickers, disabled students and parents against the Richmond City Council and School Board, and the Granada House against the City of Boston and the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Vreeland and the other honorees were celebrated on Wednesday October 28, 2015 at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly at its Top Women of Law ceremony. Her Top Women of Law profile is now available to view.
