It is estimated that up to 75 percent of all broadcast stations will undergo financial restructuring this year or next, either through bankruptcy or negotiated changes in their debt. It is critical that investors understand how FCC rules could affect restructurings–for some investors, these rules are well known; but for others, the limits enforced by the FCC may come as a surprise and have significant potential implications.
