The Harvard Law School Conference on Intellectual Property Law will feature a distinguished collection of leading thinkers from academia, private practice and the judiciary as they offer their diverse perspectives on the latest developments in intellectual property law, both in the courts and in practice.
Building on the case study method of the Problem Solving Workshop of Harvard Law School, our conference will offer a new and unique format, allowing attendees to participate in two limited enrollment case studies where participants will explore the implications and ramifications of challenges and current issues shaping intellectual property law. Case study topics include Non-Practicing Entities and Standards Essential Patents, led by William Lee, Harvard Law School, and Bruce Sewell, Apple, and The Re-Distribution of Copyrighted Works, led by William Fisher, Harvard Law School, and Geoffrey Stewart, Jones Day.
The conference will include a panel of distinguished members of the judiciary from the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the District Court of Massachusetts, moderated by former US Solicitor General and WilmerHale Partner, Seth Waxman.
