This Seat at the Table program will consist of small group conversations between board members, CEO's and private equity partners about key issues in corporate governance. Corporate clients who want to develop the careers of their people are encouraged to attend.
WilmerHale Partner Mick Bain, along with Katherine Fogel (Suffolk University Sawyer Business School), will be speaking on the topic, "If 'independent' directors lack the power base to challenge a strong CEO/chairman, what do the courts think about that director’s ability to exercise Duty of Loyalty? Is there a way to objectively measure Director Power?"
