Led by several social media companies, the IPO markets have begun to be receptive to initial offerings in a variety of sectors. Given the uptick in activity, the content of this program seems very timely. In almost any market, understanding the IPO process is an essential skill for both legal and business advisors.
An experienced panel will analyze the process of an initial public offering in the context of the current market. The process will be discussed from the standpoint of the issuer (both domestic and foreign), the underwriters, their respective counsel and the SEC.
WilmerHale Partner Lisa Firenze will be speaking on "Underwriting Agreements, Due Diligence and Potential Liabilities."
