The March of Dimes, Massachusetts Chapter, heldTheFranklin Delano Roosevelt Humanitarian Award Gala on November 13, 2009 at the Four Seasons Hotel. This annualevent raises fundsto benefit the March of Dimes in their mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies’ lives. Kim and Charlie Jacobs and the Boston Bruins Foundation were honored as the 2009 Franklin Delano Roosevelt Humanitarians of the Year.
