WilmerHale Tax Partner Kim Wethly and Corporate Senior Associate Todd Anderman presented on compensation issues to WeWork Labs Companies in New York as a part of their Legal Issues for Startups series. Speakers discussed the different forms of equity incentives and highlighted the tax considerations for restricted stock as well as incentive and nonstatutory stock options. The discussion also included reference to accounting issues and thoughts on deferred compensation.
