The increase in the number of cases registered worldwide with arbitrators and counsel from diverse cultural and legal backgrounds has given an emphasis in recent years to the role of ethics in international arbitration. This year's ICC UK Annual Abitrator's Forum will discuss the lack of clarity on which ethical rules apply, conflicting rules and obligations, limited degrees of transparency, and how the increasing size of many proceedings are seen by many as potential threats to the stability of the international arbitration system.
