WilmerHale Partner Andrea Weiss Jeffries will discuss the current threats to the intellectual property protections and rights upon which owners and businesses have long relied in the panel "Patent Litigation Case Management: Reforming the Patent Litigation Process Through the Cooperative Efforts of the Bench and Bar." She will be joined by other leaders to propose how the bench and bar can achieve reform of the litigation process, improve the system for the benefit of all participants, and minimize abuse in litigation. The panel will discuss controversial issues in patent litigation procedures and a series of recommendations developed by The Sedona Conference’s Working Group 10 on Patent Litigation Best Practices to address them.
