Ambassador Kimmitt will preside over the Council of Foreign Relations Meeting, which will feature Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble, German minister of finance. Ambassador Kimmitt will introduce Minister Schäuble and moderate a question-and-answer session with the audience. Dr. Schäuble will discuss the challenges Europe faces from the situation in Ukraine to a new regulatory regime for the European banking system, as well as the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and broader transatlantic relationship.
