As financial regulatory agencies eye modifications to post-crisis rules, the Bipartisan Policy Center and the Managed Funds Association will host an in-depth conversation with two of the key regulators leading the charge. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce and CFTC Commissioner Brian Quintenz will discuss the key regulatory issues facing their agencies in 2019, including their joint efforts to promote coordination, harmonization and efficiency among their agencies, while reducing regulatory overlap and duplication. The impact of these efforts will be analyzed through the lens of capital market participants and Main Street.
