The FCA's approach is to tackle issues of misconduct at an earlier stage by focusing on firms’ conduct and looking closely at the root causes of behaviour that lead to poor consumer outcomes and market conduct. The conference was an opportunity to hear industry views, and to share how lessons learned from enforcement cases can be turned into good practice for firms.
