Zulkifl Zargar represents clients in a wide range of complex litigation matters, as well as government-facing and internal corporate investigations. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on civil rights and immigration.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Zargar served as a law clerk for the Honorable Laura Taylor Swain, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. During law school, Mr. Zargar was a legal intern in the Complex Frauds and Cybercrime Unit of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and worked at a small plaintiffs’ civil rights firm focusing on wrongful convictions and police misconduct. He also spent six months in a law school clinic representing low-income clients in a FINRA customer case, which culminated in a highly favorable settlement on the eve of arbitration. At his law school graduation, Mr. Zargar received the Parchomovsky-Siegelman Prize for the best work of scholarship published in one of Fordham’s law journals. Before pursuing his law degree, Mr. Zargar spent three years as an analyst in the Special Investigations and Prosecutions Unit at the New York State Office of the Attorney General.

Mr. Zargar currently serves as a member of the New York City Bar Association’s White Collar Crime Committee and as a member of the Muslim Bar Association of New York.
