Sophie De Schepper is a Belgian qualified lawyer who focuses on all aspects of European antitrust and competition law, as well as on EU regulatory matters. 

Ms. De Schepper advises clients in a broad range of service industries including banking and telecoms, and has experience in, among others, state aid and cartel proceedings. She also assists on cases before the General Court, the Court of Justice of the European Union and proceedings before national competition authorities. 

Besides working on EU competition law cases, Ms. De Schepper also represents clients in pro bono cases where she focusses on assisting refugees in safeguarding their institutional, international and European freedoms and on commercial mediation and litigation cases. 

Before joining WilmerHale, Ms. De Schepper completed an LL.M. in European Law at Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris. She also participated in an internship at the diplomatic representation of Flanders to the OECD, UNESCO and the Council of Europe in Paris.
