Ryan Potts is an intellectual property lawyer who represents clients across a broad range of industries. He joined the firm as a summer associate in 2022.

Before pursuing his JD, Mr. Potts built a career as a primary patent examiner with the US Patent and Trademark Office (PTO). In that role, he examined applications related to image analysis technologies, including machine learning, pattern recognition and data compression, demonstrating a master’s level equivalency in the field per internal PTO standards. He also worked as a patent agent for another Boston law firm.
