Richard Bernache focuses his practice on securities enforcement and litigation matters. Prior to joining WilmerHale, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Stephen Tiscione of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. 

Mr. Bernache was previously an associate attorney at another global law firm in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, he worked as a student counsel for the Georgetown Law Appellate Litigation Clinic representing pro bono clients on constitutional and immigration related matters before the Supreme Court and Eleventh Circuit. He also served  as a law clerk for the office of former US Senator Patrick Leahy working on legislative issues and nominations before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
