Mark Gable
Attorney, Data Analytics and Investigations
Mark Gable is a DA&I attorney on the firm's WilmerHale DiscoverySolutions team, focused on substantive and strategic areas of discovery for Litigation/Controversy matters. He joined the firm in 2006.
Mr. Gable focuses his practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, he works with other attorneys, litigation support coordinators, and paralegals in order to provide efficient and cost effective discovery in litigations and investigations. Attorneys on these teams manage matters to create smarter document review processes through strategic and tactical work from preservation to collection and through review and production. In this role they utilize the firm's internal review software as well as e-discovery vendors' review and analytical tools.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gable worked as a contract attorney for multiple firms in Washington DC. He focused on civil litigation matters and on issues involving antitrust and securities related regulatory oversight connected to the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Trade Commission.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Gable served as legislative representative then legislative director of the Federal Managers Association in Virginia for six years. There, Mr. Gable oversaw legislative and government relations for the 15,000-member association of managers and supervisors from twenty-five government departments and agencies. From 1992-1994, Mr. Gable was a senior legislative assistant for the Federal Government Service Task Force, where he provided legislative support to fifty House and Senate members of the Legislative Service Organization. From 1991-1992 Mr. Gable served as a Legislative Correspondent for Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (D-MD-5).
