Lizet Garcia is the firm's Chief Human Resources Officer. She is responsible for attracting, retaining, developing and motivating more than 1,000 staff employees. Ms. Garcia oversees all human resources functions worldwide, including HR strategy, recruiting, compensation, employee relations, training, leave administration, HRIS, policies and international HR. She designs and administers benefits for more than 2,100 attorneys and staff in 13 offices worldwide and also is responsible for the management of legal secretaries throughout the firm.

Ms. Garcia has more than 20 years of experience in the human resources field. Before her role as Chief Human Resources Officer at WilmerHale, she held human resources positions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Sullivan & Lynch, P.C. Throughout her career, Ms. Garcia has worked extensively with senior executives to drive the achievement of aggressive goals and objectives in a variety of organizational settings.

Ms. Garcia is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Association of Legal Human Resources Managers (ALHRM).
