Keith R. Stemple is the Chief Legal Personnel and Development & Practice Management Officer at WilmerHale. In this role, he partners with firm management to execute on WilmerHale’s strategic goal of delivering world-class client service by attracting, developing, deploying, and retaining the highest-caliber legal talent. 

Mr. Stemple leads the firm’s Legal Personnel and Development Department, responsible for the development and implementation of all global legal talent initiatives and functions, encompassing law student and lateral recruitment, development and training, evaluation, compensation, and the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs. 

In addition, Mr. Stemple heads the firm’s Practice Management Department, ensuring the effective management of the talent, technology and business resources required to support the market strategy of the firm’s legal practices and departments and their delivery of the premier legal services for which the firm is known. Mr. Stemple also oversees the firm’s Legal Operations & Discovery team, including WilmerHale DiscoverySolutions, which provides industry-leading integrated discovery services to firm clients.

Mr. Stemple has more than 25 years of talent management and career development experience in the legal industry, the professional services field, and higher education.
