Isabel Dai is a trusted advisor to financial institutions and FinTech companies (including crypto) on complex regulatory, compliance, enforcement and licensing matters. Ms. Dai regularly advises financial institutions on issues involving federal consumer financial protection laws, state consumer protection and licensing laws, and bank, trust company, and money transmitter license and charter applications. She has represented financial institutions and FinTech companies in a variety of supervisory and enforcement matters before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Reserve (Fed), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) and state financial regulators (e.g., New York State Department of Financial Services).

In a prior capacity, Ms. Dai was a manager at a global financial services consulting firm and led multiple engagements with domestic and international financial institutions (including branches of foreign banking organizations operating in the US) to address a variety of regulatory, compliance and risk management issues.

Ms. Dai regularly publishes and speaks on issues related to federal consumer protection laws, state consumer protection and licensing laws, and crypto regulatory topics and developments. Her work has been featured on Law360, the Investment Lawyer and presented at the ABA Derivatives & Futures Law Committee.
