Gannam Rifkah focuses his regulatory practice on matters involving antitrust and competition. He has extensive experience counseling clients facing antitrust investigations from federal and state antitrust agencies, including related enforcement proceedings. This includes representing a multifamily asset company facing allegations of algorithmic price fixing, a medical device company facing a retroactive merger review investigation, and a mineral rights company under investigation for market allocation. Mr. Rifkah’s experience also includes antitrust litigation and merger clearance. This includes representing a global biopharmaceutical company obtain merger clearance with the FTC, which included the divestiture of certain assets. Mr. Rifkah also represented a divestiture buyer in an airline merger litigation.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Rifkah was as an associate at another law firm and worked on matters related to antitrust law. He helped draft an FTC complaint focusing on anticompetitive conduct in digital advertising
