Eliza Green focuses her practice on complex litigation matters, particularly intellectual property disputes. She has represented industry leading companies in patent cases involving a range of technologies from wind turbines to computer networking. Ms. Green has experience with all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, trial and appeal. 

Ms. Green also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on issues involving immigration and the representation of survivors of human trafficking. She has represented clients in Massachusetts Superior Court, federal administrative agency proceedings and in amicus briefs to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In 2024, on a six-month secondment from WilmerHale, Ms. Green served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where she defended state agencies, officials and employees in tort, contract, employment and erroneous conviction disputes. While at the Attorney General’s Office, Ms. Green tried a three-week jury case to verdict, briefed and argued dispositive motions in Massachusetts Superior Court, and took depositions.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Green clerked for the Honorable Patti B. Saris of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. While attending Harvard Law School, Ms. Green was a student attorney in the Veterans and Disability Benefits Clinic and a research assistant to Professor Robert Sitkoff.
