Dwight Pope defends entities and individuals in complex securities enforcement matters and investigations. He has represented executives in investigations before the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Department of Justice, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the California Department of Justice. Mr. Pope also has handled complex civil litigation for entities in a variety of matters related to federal healthcare and food and drug regulation.

Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Pope spent nearly three years as an associate at another Washington DC firm, where his practice focused on white collar defense in criminal and civil matters, internal investigations and complex civil litigation.

Before law school, Mr. Pope worked as a research associate at the Urban Institute’s Justice Policy Center, where he conducted Department of Justice–funded research on the effectiveness of federal, state and local justice initiatives.
