Christopher Lupo joined the firm as chief financial officer in 2015. As CFO, he oversees the firm's financial operations worldwide, including financial reporting and analysis, accounting, budgeting, tax, partner compensation accounting and reporting, billing and collection functions, and accounts payable and payroll.
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Mr. Lupo was a managing director with KPMG LLP, where he was most recently chief financial officer for the firm's audit practice and a national leadership team member. In these roles, he was responsible for the planning and execution of all finance-related activities including strategic and annual financial planning; client portfolio and profitability assessments; engagement administration; resource planning; and, working capital management. Over the span of his 15 years with KPMG, Chris led a number high-performing teams across all dimensions of finance, accounting, and operations with an emphasis on integrated and technology-enabled business processes.
Before joining KPMG, Chris was a manager at Ernst & Young where he performed and supervised audits for clients across several industries and integrated his financial and technology experience to enhance engagement efficiencies.
Chris is a certified public accountant (CPA) in New York, and has extensive experience in financial modeling, predictive analysis, pricing studies and revenue planning.
