Caleb Lin focuses his practice on complex securities enforcement and litigation matters.

Before joining WilmerHale, Mr. Lin was an associate at another global law firm in San Francisco. He has handled securities enforcement matters, internal investigations, and civil and criminal allegations of corporate and financial misconduct.

He was previously a public defender and has tried many matters to jury verdict. He has achieved acquittals and dismissals in complex criminal cases in state and federal court alleging violations of, inter alia, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, the Street Terrorism Enforcement and Prevention Act, and laws prohibiting fraud and other financial crime.

Mr. Lin is a member of the Criminal Justice Act panel for the US District Court for the Northern District of California. He has published on ethics and criminal procedure, most recently in Georgetown University Law Center’s American Criminal Law Review.
